About Peyton Davis

Hi, I'm Peyton Davis! I have operated the Facebook group page "Weather with Peyton Davis" (previously "Tristate School Closings & Weather") for five years (as of 2025). The Facebook group has rapidly grown to over 64,000 followers as of late 2025. My goal is to inform citizens of southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and western Kentucky of impending weather and school schedule changes.

I provide extensive and live winter weather and severe weather updates. I forecast for 28 counties across those three states. I keep track of over thirty schools and their delays, closings, or early dismissals due to impacts from weather.

I am currently a junior-year student at Ball State University, in Muncie, Indiana, studying meteorology and climatology and emergency management. I attended Wood Memorial High School in Oakland City, Indiana and graduated in 2023.

It has been an amazing adventure and great pleasure serving the people in the area, and I hope to continue this for many more years!
