About Peyton Davis

Hello, I'm Peyton Davis. I have operated the Facebook group & Twitter page "Tristate School Closings & Weather" for over four years. The Facebook group has rapidly grown to over 36,000 followers as of early 2024. My goal is to inform citizens of southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and western Kentucky of impending weather and school schedule changes.

I forecast for 28 counties across those three states. I keep track of over thirty schools and their delays, closings, or early dismissals due to impacts from weather.

I am currently a student at Ball State University, in Muncie, Indiana, studying meteorology and climatology. I attended Wood Memorial High School, in Oakland City, Indiana.
